About

“Si buscas resultados distintos, no has siempre lo mismo”

“If you want different results, don’t always do the same thing”

– Albert Einstein

We have a great team who is here to serve you!

Our founder came to Rwanda to help young people into jobs, and later to help entrepreneurs to set up businesses. But she realized that many entrepreneurs failed because they didn’t have enough professional experience behind them – and there weren’t enough jobs to go around. So to address this need (and fulfil a personal passion for good design, good coffee, tapas and sangria) she took a break from the NGO world to set up CasaKeza.

We see ourselves as a socially minded business where our staff come from sometimes challenging backgrounds with little experience and opportunities. At CasaKeza we encourage them to take on important responsibilities, engage and learn from al aspects of the business, and of course enjoy their work environment.

Enter our Guatemalan Manager Victor to bring in latin flair and hospitality. He is on site most of the time to ensure that you have the very best of experiences and if you are lucky, he might even get his guitar out!

CasaKeza is a café and tapas bar in the heart of Kacyiru, in Kigali We serve delicious, healthy and freshly made food using mostly local ingredients with a Spanish twist. Many of our clients tell us our Sangria is the best in town, which goes perfectly with our delicious tapas. But our lunches are also a big thing, as is our weekend Brunch, (Saturday and Sunday up to 1 pm).

Set in a beautiful garden with seating platforms looking out across the valley or under towering bamboo, you will spot birds such as the weaver bord, flycatchers, bulbulbs, sunbirds and robinchats. In the morning we are open from 8am so you can also enjoy the early morning tranquility.

We also have a curated gift shop, have a resident in-house designer, a children’s play area and run an exciting selection of evening courses. Plus we are a hub for all things Hispanic so if you want to omprobe your Spanish join our Wednesday meet-up (8-10 pm) or join us for a Spanish film night. We also have a meeting room which sits up to 8 people comfortably and can be rented by the hour.

Listen to the birds during the day, catch up with a friend over drinks, or get productive.
